Announcement

Many of you have been calling and emailing wanting to know about a 2009 season.  Summerstock does not have plans for productions at the Mitch Park Amphitheatre this summer.  As you might know, we are an all-volunteer organization.  Every job, large or small, was done by volunteers who are passionate about the unique experience that our outdoor family musicals provided.  We produced shows for four incredible seasons - through rain, flood, high winds, and blistering heat, and have loved every minute of it.  Many of you must have agreed; more than 20,000 patrons have attended our productions.

But, now we find ourselves at a crossroads.  Because we have grown so quickly and been so successful, our organization finds that we have outgrown our infrastructure and that our all-volunteer format is actually hindering us from achieving our full potential.   Last fall, our board made the decision to actively pursue alternatives for a change in the organizational structure of Summerstock to broaden its infrastructure to allow it to grow and become even more of an asset to the community.
